Isaac's birth to Abraham & Sarah is a miracle in itself. But then God asks Abraham to sacrifice his promised son. He believes that God will be faithful to His promise, that He is able to raise people even from the dead. So Abraham obeys, and God provides a sacrifice for Himself: Jesus, the true Son of Promise.
