Big Picture: The King-Priest (or) The Order of Melchizidek

After Abraham rescues his nephew Lot from the enemy kings, he encounters Melchizidek, King of Salem, priest of God Most High. Abraham offers him a tenth of the spoils and he blesses Abraham. The author of Hebrews tells us the Melchizidek is a picture of Jesus: greater than Abraham and Levi. King of Righteousness. King of Peace.
